Ignatius Yeo has been in the mortgage industry since 2000. A chemical engineer by training, he travelled regionally to service his clients in the printed circuit board assembly industry in the 1990s. Due to family commitments, he clipped his wings to stay grounded. For the love of numbers, he joined Citibank as one of the pioneer mortgage specialists for their HomeSaver loan programme in 2000. This home loan comes with an interest off-setting account which was a first in Singapore. After more than 15 years, he is still loving the mortgage business with many more years to come helping and advising clients on their property mortgage loans. “Seeing a smile on my client’s face makes my day,” he said.
